Here is a morning video reflection from Pastor Scott. In it he shares a couple important and reflective things. First, Scripture. Second. An insight from the Chinese character for Crisis. Third. A quick way to share and connect with loved ones–those under your roof as well as those you connect with on the phone.
Here is your assignment.
- Lift up in prayer those who are working tirelessly during these days: Medical professionals; governmental leaders; supply chain workers; teachers and administrators; Working parents who are homeschooling and working remotely; and small (and large) business owners who are being forced to make impossible decisions.
- Reflect on the Chinese Character for Crisis: Danger and Opportunity. Have a conversation with someone about what Danger means to you in these days. And a conversation about where the opportunity is in these days.
- Make one point of contact with someone today. A Neighbor. A vulnerable member of a community you are a part of: book club; Church member; Classmate; colleague. Ask them about their highs and lows. And share the Hope filled verse of Psalm 46:10. “Be still and know that I am God.”
- Breath Deep. Remind yourself that this will pass. You are going to be okay. And God is bigger than all of our lows. And He shows Himself in the midst of our highs.
