John 19:25-27
but standing by the cross of Jesus were his mother and his mother’s sister, Mary the wife of Clopas, and Mary Magdalene. When Jesus saw his mother and the disciple whom he loved standing nearby, he said to his mother, “Woman, behold, your son!” Then he said to the disciple, “Behold, your mother!” And from that hour the disciple took her to his own home.

Lord Jesus, we confess that we get caught up in the grandeur of your sacrifice. I see you saving the world and we forget that you are saving me too. I hear your call to take this Good News to the world–help me start by taking it to my neighbor, my dear friends, and my loved ones. In the name of Christ. Amen.
