We are excited to be gathering in our parking lot for worship at 9:00am on Sunday.
Here is the Video Archive of Worship
Here is today’s worship file to print and/or follow along. This page will contain all of that information as well, however, we wanted to give you the option to participate via this website while in the parking lot as well as printing from home and coming with your own sheets.
Words of Welcome
Guide Me Ever, Great Redeemer
Guide me ever, great redeemer,
Pilgrim through this barren land.
I am weak, but you are mighty;
Hold me with your powerful hand
Bread of heaven, bread of heaven,
Feed me now and evermore
Feed me now and evermore
Open now the crystal fountain
Where the healing waters flow.
Let the fire and cloudy pillar
Lead me all my journey through
Strong deliv’rer, strong deliver
Shield me with your mighty arm,
Shield me with your mighty arm
When I tread the verge of Jordan,
Bid my anxious fears subside;
Death of death and hell’s destruction,
Land me safe on Canaan’s side.
Songs and praises, songs and praises
I will raise forevermore.
I will raise forever more.
Opening Litany from Psalm 136
Give thanks to the Lord
For He is Good
He is the Almighty One who’s love endures forever and we Worship Him
For He is Good
He cares for creation and nourishes the whole earth
For He is Good
He calls us into relationship with Him, inviting us to count the cost and follow.
For He is Good
Following Jesus will cost us everything. And yet we are invited to go all in with Him, trusting that His steadfast love endures forever.
For He is Good
Good Good Father
I’ve heard a thousand stories
Of what they think You’re like
But I’ve heard the tender whisper
Of love in the dead of night
You tell me that You’re pleased
And that I’m never alone
Chorus
You’re a Good Good Father
It’s who You are
It’s who You are
It’s who You are
And I’m loved by You
It’s who I am
It’s who I am
It’s who I am
Verse 2
I’ve seen many searching for answers
Far and wide
But I know we’re all searching for answers
Only You provide
Because You know just what we need
Before we say a word
Bridge
You are perfect in all of Your ways
You are perfect in all of Your ways
You are perfect in all of Your ways to us
Verse 3
Love so undeniable I can hardly speak
Peace so unexplainable I can hardly think
As You call me deeper still
As You call me deeper still
As You call me deeper still

Sermon
Mighty to Save
Ev’ryone needs compassion
Love that’s never failing
Let mercy fall on me
Ev’ryone needs forgiveness
The kindness of a Savior
The hope of nations
Chorus
Savior He can move the mountains
My God is mighty to save
He is mighty to save
Forever Author of salvation
He rose and conquered the grave
Jesus conquered the grave
So take me as You find me
All my fears and failures
Fill my life again
I give my life to follow
Ev’rything I believe in
Now I surrender
Bridge
Shine your light and let the whole world see
We’re singing
For the glory of the risen King
Jesus
Shine your light and let the whole world see
We’re singing
For the glory of the risen King
Apostles’ Creed:
I believe in God the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth. I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son our Lord. He was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit, and born of the virgin Mary. He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended into hell. On the third day he rose again. He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.

Like holy water (on my skin)

Communion
Closing Prayer/Blessing
Praise and Thanksgiving
Praise and thanksgiving,
Father we offer
For all things living,
created good;
Harvest of sown fields,
Fruits of the orchard,
Hay from the mown fields,
blossom and wood
Bless, Lord, the labor
We bring to serve you,
That with our neighbor
We may be fed
Sowing or tilling,
We would work with you
Harvesting, milling
For daily bread
Father, providing
Food for your children,
By your wise guiding
Teach us to share
One with another,
So that, rejoicing
With us, all others
May know your care
Then will your blessing
Reach every people
Freely confessing
Your gracious hand
Where all obey you
No one will hunger;
In your love’s sway you
Nourish the land
Postlude by Dr. Pat
As you return home, we ask that you pass under the Porte Cochere. It will be a different type of receiving line than we are used to, but Pastor Scott will be there to say goodbye.
Also, as you leave the parking lot there will be a place for you to leave your offering. We can’t say enough how blessed Prince of Peace continues to be by your generous support of our ministries. Thank You!
