We adore you, O Christ, and we bless you; by your holy cross, you have redeemed the world. Help us to walk in your steps. Amen.

Luke 23:44-46
It was now about the sixth hour, and there was darkness over the whole land until the ninth hour, while the sun’s light failed. And the curtain of the temple was torn in two. Then Jesus, calling out with a loud voice, said, “Father, into your hands I commit my spirit!” And having said this he breathed his last.

A Prayer
Lord Jesus, you are wounded for our transgressions and nailed to a cross by our rebellion. Now your side is pierced. Adam’s side was split open to bring forth his bride. May we, your Church and bride, always know that we are born out of your side and that in your dying we find our life. Amen.
